Universities and outreach

Applicants do not choose a prospectus. They choose a feeling.

JobBox lets universities put applicants inside the lab, the studio, the ward and the career the course leads to. It runs on open days, at schools you visit, and at every recruitment event for the rest of the year.

The honest bit

The best parts of your campus are the hardest to show.

Open day tours are weather dependent, capacity limited and often skip the rooms that actually sell the course. Outreach visits are worse, because you arrive with a stand and a slide deck.

01

Restricted spaces

Clinical simulation suites, clean rooms and working labs cannot take a tour group. In VR they can take everyone.

02

Widening participation

The students least likely to visit campus are the ones you most want to reach. Take the campus to their school instead.

03

Course to career gap

Applicants want to know where the degree ends up. Show them the job, not a graduate destinations table.

How it works

Built for open days, outreach and schools visits.

Two travel cases, ten headsets, no wifi needed. Any ambassador can run it after a five minute handover.

  1. 01

    Choose the spaces

We film the rooms and activities that convince people, from simulation suites to studios to field work.

  2. 02

    Film with students and staff

Current students explaining their course in their own words is the single most persuasive asset you own.

  3. 03

    Run it everywhere

Open days, applicant days, school assemblies, UCAS fairs and community events, all from the same box.

  4. 04

    Keep it current

JobBox+ handles updates and device management, so your team never becomes an IT department.

Proof

"We put around 200 students through the Fusion Lab on a single open day, and the queue was for the headsets."

Questions we get asked

Can we use it for teaching as well as recruitment?

Yes. Coventry use immersive films to prepare students before placement, which means the same investment serves admissions and teaching.

Is it accessible?

Films are short, seated and can be viewed without controllers. We are experienced working with neurodivergent participants and see VR as a support, not a barrier.

Who manages the devices?

JobBox+ does. Updates, content changes and device management are handled remotely, and you can stop any time.

How quickly can we have it for the next open day?

Six weeks from sign off to box in hand is standard, subject to hardware stock.

Give applicants something they will still be talking about at dinner.

Book a demo and we will bring the headsets to your campus.
