Careers fair ideas

Be the stand with the queue, not the stand with the leaflets.

Every careers stand looks the same. A table, a pull up banner, branded pens and someone hoping a student makes eye contact. JobBox puts your real workplace on a headset, and the queue forms itself.

One case, ten headsets, set up in under five minutes

The honest bit

The problem is not your employer brand. It is your stand.

You pay for the space, the travel, the stand build and two days of your team's time. Then you compete for attention against 80 other tables offering exactly the same thing.

01

Nobody stops

Footfall walks the middle of the aisle. Without something to look at, you are relying on the boldest one in ten to approach you.

02

The conversation is generic

You end up explaining what your company does. With a headset on, they already know, so the conversation starts at the interesting part.

03

Nothing lasts past the day

The leaflet goes in the bin at the station. The memory of standing inside your workplace does not.

How it works

Turn up with a case. Leave with a shortlist.

JobBox is built for events. It travels as hand luggage sized cases, runs without wifi, and any member of your team can hand out a headset with zero training.

  1. 01

    Pick your box size

One headset for a small stand, five for a busy one, ten if you want continuous throughput and no waiting.

  2. 02

    Show your real jobs

We film your actual sites and people in immersive 360, so what visitors see is your workplace, not stock footage.

  3. 03

    Run all day

Charge case built in, so headsets top up between users. No cables across the floor, no laptop, no technician.

  4. 04

    Capture the interest

Your team talks to people who have already experienced the role, which makes every conversation shorter and far more useful.

Proof

"At one point the queue for the headsets was three hours long, and nobody left it."

Dawood Ibtehsam, McDonald's

McDonald's took a branded JobBox to recruitment events and the stand became the attraction. Their CEO tried it too, and loved it.

Questions we get asked

How many people can we get through in a day?

With a ten headset box you can run continuously. The films are short by design so throughput stays high and the queue keeps moving.

Is it hygienic?

Yes. Wipeable face interfaces and a simple clean between users. Our install day covers the routine with your team.

What if the venue wifi is bad?

It does not matter. Films sit on the headsets and the box has an integrated router for management.

Can we brand it?

The lid is printed with your brand, so the box itself becomes part of the stand.

Next September, be the stand people talk about.

We will bring a box to your office and let your team try it. If it does not feel like the busiest stand in the hall, do not book it.
