How we work

What working with us looks like.

From first call to headsets in hand. Here is exactly what happens when you become a JobBox client.

The journey

Eight steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

It starts with a video call. We listen. What are you trying to achieve, what have you seen elsewhere, what does success look like for you?

  2. 02

    The demo

We bring a box of headsets and show you real work we have made for other clients, so you experience the content first hand. Then we talk about what you want to focus on within JobBox, or what immersive content you need.

  3. 03

    Briefs and proposals

We put together a clear brief and proposal for sign off. Scope and timeline depend on the number of jobs, the location, and the nature of the work itself. A tree surgeon working at height takes longer to film than standard videography, because immersive equipment needs extra care to navigate the space.

For bespoke filming packages, you review draft versions in 2D first, then experience the full immersive version once it is loaded onto your headsets at the install day.

  4. 04

    Scoping day

Before filming, we visit your site. We scope filming locations, agree what people will wear, capture 360 photos of the space, and book your filming day.

  5. 05

    Your new client pack

Every client receives a pack containing our insurance documents, DBS checks and risk assessments. Everything your compliance team needs, before we set foot on site.

  6. 06

    Your social media, your call

Before filming we ask your stance: post immediately, post later, or not at all. We take behind the scenes photos on shoot and can blur backgrounds so only our team is visible. Nothing is ever posted without your approval. We are well practiced in strict no-social environments and happy to sign NDAs.

  7. 07

    The filming day

Full site induction first. Then we introduce ourselves to everyone being filmed and give a short 15 minute brief so everyone feels relaxed. Our style is candid and unscripted, unless you want something bespoke. We capture people in action, then interview them seated or in their own workspace, whatever suits them best. On site time ranges from 1 to 5 days depending on the shoot.

  8. 08

    Delivery and install

Standard delivery is 6 to 8 weeks. When your video is complete we load it onto your boxes and bring them to you, installing on site. Two JobBox specialists attend to install, show your team how everything works, and hold a debrief. Hardware delivery is subject to stock and supplier lead times.

Good to know

How we work on site.

Why immersive filming takes longer

The VR camera essentially replicates a person's brain. The two lenses act as their eyes, and the footage engages the viewer's vestibular system, so comfort and stability are critical. That is why immersive shoots need extra shots and more time on site than standard videography.

A calm set is a good set

While cameras are rolling, our operators work in a dedicated, focused way and should not be interrupted. It keeps the footage stable and your people comfortable.

Diversity and inclusion

We are well trained in working with neurodivergent individuals, and we actively promote VR as a tool that supports and benefits neurodivergent people.

Our philosophy

"If the vibe is right, the work is effortless."

We take pride in making people comfortable in front of the camera and drawing out genuine stories about their careers.

With over 10 years of interviewing and videography experience, our repeat clients are our track record.
