The kit
What if the venue wifi is bad?
It does not matter. Films sit on the headsets and the box has an integrated router for management.
Is it hygienic?
Yes. Wipeable face interfaces and a simple clean between users. Our install day covers the routine with your team.
Do we need technical staff?
No. Open the case, hand over a headset, press play. If anything needs updating, JobBox+ handles it remotely.
Can it be branded?
Yes. Every kit ships in a branded JobBox charge and travel case, and we can build your own branded VR app with your logo and your content.
Is it accessible?
Films are short, seated and can be viewed without controllers. We are experienced working with neurodivergent participants and see VR as a support, not a barrier.
How many people can we get through in a day?
With a ten headset box you can run continuously. The films are short by design so throughput stays high and the queue keeps moving.
Getting started
How quickly can we start?
We aim to have your films built and your JobBox in your hands within six weeks of your filming day. That is our Six Week Promise.
Can we see examples first?
That is exactly what a demo is. We bring headsets and you watch work we have made for other clients.
Do we need to script it?
Only if you want to. Our default is candid and unscripted, which is why the films feel like real people rather than a corporate video.
How do we choose what candidates see?
We work with your team to agree the roles, workplace scenes and people to feature before filming or building the experience.
Can we use headsets we already own?
Coventry used its existing university headsets. We can discuss your current kit and content needs during the demo.
What do you send our compliance team?
Every client receives a pack containing our insurance documents, DBS checks and risk assessments. Everything your compliance team needs, before we set foot on site.
Using it
Does it work at careers fairs and assessment centres?
Yes. The case goes anywhere, the headsets run a full day of events on a charge, and you can keep them plugged in at a stand all day. Candidates put a headset on and step inside the job in minutes.
What age group is it for?
We have run sessions with year 8 through to postgraduate and adult career changers. The films are short, so you control the depth of the conversation around them.
Does this replace a real placement?
No, and we would never claim it does. It reaches the students who will never get a placement, and it prepares the ones who do so their first day is not their first look.
Who manages the devices?
JobBox+ does. Updates, content changes and device management are handled remotely, and you can stop any time.
What support do we get?
JobBox+ manages your headsets and content for you. Larger packages add priority support and a named account manager who has held your actual box.
